On our visit to New Orleans I stayed here based on reviews. My primary focus was full hookup, clean shows and prophylactic. Iii Oaks and a Pino delivered all 3. On our visit to New Orleans I stayed here based on reviews. My principal focus was total hookup, clean shows and safety. Iii Oaks and a Pine delivered all three. It is an older park in a convenient location, merely in an area where I appreciated the park is secured with an entry gate (keypad) and bright lighting at night. Nosotros had a good stay and a good value for our money.

Information technology was less than $20 to Uber to the French Quarter from here. Friendly staff with skillful communication. Fenced all effectually and gated.

Site was level but expanse at back was low and decumbent to flood on rainy 24-hour interval. Park is non in the nicest area but is secure with gated entry and we had no bug while in that location. Best to apply a commuter service if going to the French Quarters as parking just doesn't be in evenings.Train runs behind campground but only heard trains during dayti... more
Site was level but area at dorsum was low and decumbent to inundation on rainy day. Park is not in the nicest area merely is secure with gated entry and we had no bug while there. Best to use a driver service if going to the French Quarters as parking simply doesn't exist in evenings.Train runs behind campground but merely heard trains during daytime and evening and even so wasn't loud. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. WiFi was free simply not also fast, even with a booster. Got good Verizon service though.

The only reason nosotros stayed here was it's proximity to the French Quarter. It'south nearly a $14 ride-share into downtown. There is also a bus stop right across the street, which we didn't try. The only reason nosotros stayed here was information technology'southward proximity to the French Quarter. It's about a $fourteen ride-share into downtown. There is likewise a double-decker terminate right across the street, which nosotros didn't try. Other reviewers are right, it's a sketchy neighborhood. But the park is fenced and gated, with a guard dog. It'south noisy at dark with street traffic and loud industrial sounds at odd hours. It's between several auto repair shops. Owner was very nice. Provided lots of restaurant recommendations. Our $xxx a night price was for full-hookups with a Passport America discount.

Worst thing is the location/neighborhood. You're about v miles from downtown NOLA and not in a great customs. The park is fenced and gated at night, so it did feel safe to be camped there, but the surrounding area wasn't enjoyable. Worst matter is the location/neighborhood. Y'all're nearly five miles from downtown NOLA and not in a great community. The park is fenced and gated at night, so it did experience safe to be camped in that location, but the surrounding area wasn't enjoyable. The spots were specious and hookups worked well, although he sewage didn't seem to bleed properly. On site facilities that nosotros used (lounge and laundry) were clean. All around it was an affordable option within reach of the urban center for a few nights.

We originally planned to stay here for just a few weeks but extended our stay. Merely also much to see and do. Excellent location, complimentary wifi (speedy!), cablevision television set, showers (new and nice) and excellent on-site manager. I cannot say enough great things most Dave who runs the park.
